The Love Bag #ProjectTGIF

The Love Bag started in 2016 when I wanted to give back on my birthday. It’s great to receive but was always taught it was better to give as much as you could when possible. I started to see an increase in homelessness, everywhere you turn it faces you in New York City. I figured why not create a Love Bag filled with a prayer, money, toiletries, with a dash of love & hope. No, a bag won’t solve the world’s problems, but it can help a person feel recognized, seen in a world that seems almost blind to many issues & especially people. 

It all started on a Friday & I called it Project TGIF. We all look forward to Friday, to hang out, shop maybe, vacation or just relax. Not everyone’s Friday looks the same or as great. So, I thought that’s the best time to show a person some love, whether it’s yourself, a friend, family or a stranger, why not give something.

I challenge you to do just that. Give as much as you can when you can, however you feel most comfortable.  Let a person know they are loved.  Giving does a heart good!  Happy Valentines Day ❤️ everyday!
